So many influences constantly surround us. So many different voices, ideas, and events combine to shape our lives. Some stir us to express ourselves, some turn us to introspection, and almost all move us to pursue that next something which we perceive as missing. Still, a few of these voices rise above the din and, if only for a moment, are heard clearly. It is truly these voices, these friends and inspirations, that move us to seek, to write, to aspire, to dare, and sometimes simply to smile. They reach to the very center of who we are, what we want, and what we are to become. |
